Creating your Google Business profile
A Google Business profile (the business listing that shows in Google and Google Maps) lets new clients find you, read your reviews and book directly through your Klarity page. It's free and takes a few minutes to create.
Why a Google Business profile
When someone searches "coach" near them or types your name, this profile is what appears on the right of Google (and on Maps). It gathers your business, your hours, your website, your reviews, and a booking link — that of your Klarity public page. It's one of the simplest acquisition channels for a solo coach.
Creating your profile step by step
- Go to business.google.com and sign in with your Google account (create one if needed).
- Enter the name of your business as your clients know you (your name or your practice's name).
- Choose a relevant business category (e.g. Life coach, Professional coach, Consultant). You'll be able to add others later.
- Indicate your location:
- No public address (you receive clients by video or at their place): choose the "I serve customers at their location" / service area option, and fill in the cities covered. Your home address stays hidden.
- With a practice: enter the address — it will show on the profile and on Maps.
- Add your contact details: phone and, in the Website field, paste your Klarity booking link (see next section).
- Verify your profile: Google checks that the business is really yours (by phone, email, video or mail depending on the case). As long as the profile isn't verified, it doesn't appear publicly.
Adding your Klarity booking link
Your Klarity public page acts as a booking button from Google.
- In Klarity, open Agenda › Public booking page and check that the page is active.
- In the Showcase on Google card, click Copy (the booking link
…/coach/your-name). - On your Google Business profile, paste this link in the Website field and, if offered, in Appointment links.
Collecting Google reviews
Reviews strongly reinforce your profile. Klarity can automatically invite your clients to leave one.
- Get your review collection link from your Google profile ("Get more reviews" option → link to share, of the form
https://g.page/r/.../review). - In Settings › Google reviews, paste it in the Google review link field, then Save.
- Once filled in, the report email sent after a session includes a Leave a Google review button — with nothing more to do each time. Remove disables the option.
