Blocking a slot

A blocked slot makes a time range unavailable for booking, without creating an appointment. It's the ideal tool for your breaks, time off and one-off unavailabilities.

Understanding blocked time

Where the Availability tab defines your recurring hours, a blocked slot neutralizes a specific moment in your calendar. The blocked slot automatically removes the corresponding range from the availability offered on your public page: no one will be able to book on it.

Blocking a slot

  1. In Agenda, open the My agenda tab then click Block time off in the toolbar (lock icon). You can also click directly on an empty area of the calendar to pre-fill the range.
  2. Fill in the Date, the Start and End time, and a Label if needed ("Lunch break", "Time off"…).

Block time off

  1. Click Block. The range appears on your calendar and disappears from the bookable slots on your public page.

Editing or deleting a slot

  • Click a blocked slot on the calendar to edit it (dates, label).
  • Deleting the slot makes it bookable again: Klarity confirms with you before deletion.

The times of a blocked slot are expressed in your time zone, like the rest of the agenda (adjustable in Settings › Profile and account › Localization).

💡 Tip: for an absence that repeats every week (a recurring day off), reduce your ranges in the Availability tab instead; keep blocked slots for one-off cases.
