A session type is a reusable template that describes a coaching format: its name, duration, price, mode and location, and what Klarity triggers automatically after the session. It speeds up appointment creation and structures your booking page.

Understanding session types

Each type you create can be offered on your public booking page and serves as the basis for creating a session manually. The form is organized into sections: Basic information, Duration, Pricing, Mode & location, Smart processing after the session, Automatic reminders and Public availability.

Creating a type

1. In Agenda › Session types, click Add a type.

2. Fill in the Basic information section: Name (e.g. "Follow-up session"), a short Description, Icon and Accent color.

3. In Duration, choose a preset duration or "Custom" (5 to 240 minutes).
4. In Pricing, choose Free or Paid (amount + payment method). Payment isn't handled by Klarity: the price is purely informational.
5. In Mode & location, choose the Default mode (Video, In person, By phone or Client's choice) and, for video, the Video platform. With Client's choice, it's the client who decides video or in person at booking time.
6. Set the Smart processing after the session (pre-session briefing, smart client memory, report draft…) and the Automatic reminders if needed. The Record audio and generate a summary option can be unchecked for formats with no coaching content (a simple admin call, for example): the session will then be neither recorded nor summarized.
7. In Public availability, two settings: keep Visible on my public booking page checked so it's bookable online (uncheck to reserve it for manual creation only); turn on Bookable by existing clients only so that a client must have had at least one past session with you before being able to book this type.
8. Click Create. The type appears in the list and, if it's visible, on your public page.

Editing, reordering, deleting

• Editing a type opens its full form; drag a row to reorder types — the order is reflected on your public page.
• Deleting a type: past sessions of this type are kept, but no future session will be able to use it anymore.
