My client can't manage to book
A client tells you they can't find your booking page, that they see no slots, or not the ones you expected? The problem happens on their side, and you see nothing from yours. Here are the possible causes, in order — most of them are deliberate settings behaving normally, not failures.
The page doesn't show at all
- Check that the page is active. In Agenda › Public booking page, the Page active switch must be on. A disabled page is inaccessible to everyone.
- Check the link you shared. If you changed your page's URL after sharing it, the old link no longer works: share the new one again (and update your Google Business profile, email signature, social bios). This is why the URL can only be changed once — pick it carefully.
- Test the link yourself in a private browsing window: you'll see exactly what your client sees.
The client sees no slots
It's almost always the — normal — effect of your booking rules, set in Agenda › Availability:
- Minimum booking notice — by default, a slot must be booked at least 12 h in advance. A client looking for an appointment "later today" will therefore see nothing today: that's the expected behavior. Lower this notice if you want to accept last-minute bookings.
- Maximum notice — by default, the page only offers the next 30 days. A client trying to book two months out will see no slots beyond the horizon: raise it if needed.
- Your availability itself — the offered slots come from your weekly windows. A week without an open window = a week without slots.
- Your external calendar — if Google Calendar or Outlook is connected, every event in your calendar blocks the matching slots. A busy personal calendar can empty your page without you noticing. (Conversely, an event marked Free / Available in Google or Outlook blocks nothing.)
- The buffer between sessions — the configured buffer wraps every existing appointment and can make tight slots disappear.
The client can't find the right session type
- Hidden types — a session type can be hidden from the public page (a setting on the type): it stays bookable by you internally, but is invisible to the client. Check the editor of the type concerned.
- Group sessions — group types are never offered on the public page: you organize a group session and invite the participants yourself. Only individual types can be booked online.
- Restricted audience — some types are reserved for existing clients: a new contact won't see them.
The times look shifted for the client
Your public page shows every time in your time zone, stated clearly under the grid ("All times are shown in Paris time", for example). A client abroad must therefore convert on their own: a "3:00 PM" slot on your page is 3 PM where you are, not where they are.
The client says they booked, but nothing shows
- Check your Klarity agenda: every booking creates a session and notifies you (header bell). If the session isn't there, the booking didn't go through — often because the slot had just been taken ("This slot is no longer available" on the client side): they need to pick another one.
- The client didn't get the confirmation email? It goes out immediately after booking. Have them check their spam, and verify the spelling of the email address they typed on the page.
