General FAQ
The questions that come up most often about Klarity, with short answers. To go further, each question links to a dedicated article.
Clients and payment
Do my clients have to pay or create an account?
No. It's you, the coach, who pays for Klarity. Your clients install nothing and pay nothing: they only interact with your booking page and the consent link. See What is Klarity?
Does Klarity handle my client billing or my accounting?
No. Klarity focuses on session memory and preparation, not on admin (billing, accounting, training programs).
Data and privacy
Is the audio of my sessions kept?
No. The audio recording is deleted within 24 h of the summary being generated; only the summary and the text transcription are kept. See The privacy of your client data
How do I get my data back if I leave?
From Settings › Privacy & GDPR, click Export my data: you'll receive a ZIP file by email (GDPR right to portability).
Sessions and summaries
Can I use Klarity in person?
Yes. An in-person session is captured straight from its page, in the Session capture panel: either by recording the exchange with your computer's mic (beta), or by importing a recording you made another way (voice recorder, phone). Klarity then generates the summary and memory, just like a video session. Capture is available on the Professional and Signature plans and requires the client's consent. See Capturing a session.
Can I edit a generated summary?
Yes, as long as the session is still enrichable. Once finalized and locked, the summary is frozen. See The lifecycle of a session
Agenda and times
My times look shifted, why?
Every time in Klarity (agenda, sessions, booking page) is shown in your account's time zone, stated under the agenda bar (e.g. "All times are shown in Paris time") and set in Settings › Profile & account › Location. Three situations create an impression of shift: you're traveling (your computer changed time, your account didn't — that's intentional, your appointments stay anchored to your working time zone); a client abroad reads your booking page, shown in your time zone, not theirs; or your external calendar (Google/Outlook) is configured in another time zone. Daylight-saving changes, on the other hand, are handled automatically. If your whole agenda is shifted as a block, simply fix the time zone in Settings › Profile & account.
Memory Chat, Memo and tasks
Is Memory Chat included in my plan?
It's included from the Professional plan, and freely available during the free trial. See Plans: Starter, Professional, Signature and What is Memory Chat?
Who is "Memo"?
Memo is the AI assistant of Memory Chat: it's the one that answers your questions about your practice and your clients' history, drawing on the memory accumulated session after session. See What is Memory Chat?
Can I manage follow-up tasks in Klarity?
Yes. The Tasks page gathers your reminders and follow-up actions, whether you create them yourself or Memo suggests them from the chat (adopt with one click). See Understanding your tasks
