Delete your account

Deleting your account permanently erases your data and your clients' data. It's a deliberate step, framed by a multi-step flow to prevent any mistake. Not to be confused with cancellation, which simply stops the charges.

Understanding account deletion

Deletion is irreversible: it erases your profile, your client records, your sessions and their summaries, the smart memory, your conversations in Memory Chat and the attached files. Deletion runs immediately after confirmation. Only your invoices are kept for 10 years (legal accounting obligation).

Account deletion is final and irreversible: once confirmed, neither you nor support can recover your data or your clients' data.

Deleting your account

  1. Go to Settings, on the Profile & account tab, and scroll down to the Danger Zone.
  2. Click Delete my account to open the guided flow.
  3. Alternatives — the screen reminds you it's final and offers alternatives if you only want to stop paying: Pause, Cancel subscription or Export your data.
  4. Reason — an optional step; you can skip it (GDPR, art. 17).
  5. Consequences — the list details everything that will be erased. Remember to Export my data now for your professional archives before continuing.
  6. Confirmation — type the word DELETE (in uppercase) to enable the button, then click Delete permanently.

Before deleting: export your data if you want to keep a copy. As a coach, you have your own retention obligations (practice log, ICF/EMCC) — the export is sent to you by email.

💡 Tip: if you only want to stop paying, prefer cancellation: it keeps your account and your data for 30 days, with one-click reactivation available.
