The client memory

The Memory tab condenses everything Klarity keeps in mind about a client. This is where the smart memory of the coaching takes shape: enough to bring the essentials back before a session, without rereading all your notes.


Understanding the client memory


The memory is built automatically from your session summaries, your notes and the transcripts. The more sessions you capture and the more you enrich your notes, the more precise it becomes — it's what then feeds the pre-session briefing and the Memory Chat.


What you find there


  • Latest generated briefing — a summary of the client's journey, generated before each session to bring back the essentials.
  • Memory Chat exchanges — the latest conversations about this client, favorites first, with an Ask about this client button.
  • Past session summaries — the recaps of every session already held, gathered in one place.
  • Recurring themes detected by the AI — the topics that come up across sessions, with their mention frequency.


The Journey map (see the dedicated article) also offers a graphical view of the trajectory, from this same tab.


Until a session has taken place, these blocks stay empty: the memory starts building from the first session.


Below the summary of the Latest generated briefing, a linked sentence invites you to find it alongside the client's key facts in the upcoming session's Preparation view — it only appears when there is an upcoming individual session scheduled.


Explore this memory


As long as no conversation exists for this client, the tab shows the Explore this memory block at the top, which opens the Memory Chat: there you ask natural-language questions about the client (evolution over six months, avoided topics, recurring patterns…). The Memory Chat requires the client's granted consent and is part of the Professional plan.


As soon as at least one conversation exists for this client, the Explore this memory card disappears: the entry point then moves to the Memory Chat exchanges block and its Ask about this client button. The Explore this memory card still reappears to warn you if consent is missing or the client is archived, and if your plan doesn't include the Memory Chat (a preview of the feature).


💡 Tip: get into the habit of enriching your sessions with a few notes — that's what makes the briefings and the Memory Chat's answers truly relevant.
