Import a client's history

Were you already coaching this client before Klarity? Import their reports, notes and follow-up journals to start their smart memory with their real history, rather than beginning from a blank page.

Understanding history import

Klarity analyzes the documents you upload and integrates them into the client's memory, so it can offer you relevant briefings from your very next session. The text is extracted directly in your browser, then sent for processing. Accepted files are PDF, DOCX, MD and TXT (up to 10 files, 10 MB per file, 50 MB total).

This import concerns a single client. To bring over your whole directory at once, use Import clients from the My clients list instead.

Steps

  1. On the client's record, click Import history. The wizard opens on the Files step.
  2. Drag and drop your files (session reports, notes taken during or after, follow-up journals, transcripts…) or click to browse. The text is extracted in your browser.
  3. Go to the Review step to check the detected documents, then start the Import step. Processing happens in the background and the progress updates automatically.

After the import

Sessions created from the history carry the Pre-Klarity history badge in the Sessions tab, to distinguish them from sessions captured in Klarity. The imported content immediately enriches the client's briefing and Memory Chat.

Your documents are stored in France and are never used to train AI models. You can delete an import at any time from the client record.

💡 Tip: import the history when you move an existing client over to Klarity — the memory is useful right away, without waiting for several sessions.
