Exporting a session to PDF, Word or text

Want to keep a session outside Klarity, archive it or share it? The export produces a document — PDF, Word or plain text — containing the summary and, if you choose, your notes and the report.

Understanding the export

The export is generated in your browser: the file downloads directly, with none of the session's data sent anywhere. You choose the format, then what the document contains.

The summary is always included. The other blocks (notes, report, participants…) are optional and only appear if you tick them and they exist for this session.

Exporting a session

  1. On the session page, open the More actions menu (the three dots, top right).
  2. Click Export…: the Export session window opens.
  3. Under Format, choose PDF (best for reading and printing), Word (editable .docx document) or Plain text (lightweight, unformatted, .txt).
  4. Under What to include, tick the blocks you want — for example Include the email report, Include my notes, Show content origin (marks whether each part was written by AI or by you) or Add a header with my name.
  5. Click Download: the file is generated and saved by your browser.

If the session isn't locked yet, a warning reminds you that its content may still change: the export reflects the state of the moment. Re-export after locking to freeze the final version.

💡 Tip: turn on Show content origin when you share a document: the reader can then tell what comes from the AI from what you wrote.
