Onboarding step by step

On your first sign-in, an assistant guides you step by step to set up the essentials of your Klarity workspace. Expect 3 to 5 minutes.

Understanding the assistant

Onboarding is dynamic: the server decides which steps to show, and the assistant adapts to your answers. Some steps only appear if they concern you (for example, the Video step only shows if you run sessions remotely). A step bar at the top shows your progress.

Most steps are required. The optional steps — Features and Calendar — show a Skip this step button in the footer.

The assistant is mandatory on first sign-in: there's no button to leave it before the end. Nothing is final, though — everything can be changed afterwards in Settings.

The steps

  1. Get started — the "Welcome to Klarity" welcome screen sums up the promise in three pillars — your sessions captured and summarized for you, a memory for each client, and Memory Chat — then recalls the 14-day free trial. Click Continue to move on.
  2. Coaching — under the Your coaching heading, indicate your specialties and the people you coach. These answers personalize your summaries, briefings and memory.
  3. Modalities — under the Your modalities heading, answer two questions shown as tiles: How do you run your sessions? (Video / In person) and Which formats do you practice? (One-to-one / Group sessions). If you tick Video, an extra step is inserted right after to choose your platform.
  4. Video (if you run sessions remotely) — under the Your video sessions heading, choose your video conferencing platform: Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams. With Google Meet, a unique link is generated automatically for each session; for Zoom or Teams, you'll paste your room link into each session type. This step only appears if you ticked Video in the previous step.
  5. Practice — under the Your practice heading, indicate your number of active clients, how long you've been coaching, and the approaches you draw on. These details size your workspace and refine your briefings and Memory Chat.
  6. Features — under the Which features matter to you? heading, tick the ones that matter most to you (available today or coming soon); this helps us prioritize. Optional step: you can click Skip this step.
  7. Calendar — under the Connect your calendar heading, connect Google Calendar or Outlook to sync your appointments and trigger the recording of your video sessions. Optional step: it's the last one, and the Finish and go to Klarity button also confirms completion if you don't connect a calendar.

On the last step, the bottom button becomes Finish and go to Klarity and takes you to the completion screen.

The completion screen shows Setup complete, welcomes you by your first name ("Welcome, {name}"), confirms that your practice is ready and that your free trial has started, then invites you to create your first clients and schedule your first session. The Go to my dashboard button confirms the end of setup and opens your Dashboard directly.

Your public booking page is off by default. You'll turn it on yourself later from Agenda › Public booking page when you're ready to share it.

💡 Tip: nothing is final. Everything you enter here can be changed afterwards in Settings, and you can connect Google Calendar or Outlook later if you skipped the step.
