Klarity glossary

A few terms come up everywhere in Klarity. Keep this page handy to quickly understand the tool's vocabulary and connect it to what you see on screen.

Understanding Klarity's vocabulary

Klarity revolves around three objects: your clients, their sessions, and the memory the tool builds from those sessions. Every other term (briefing, summary, consent…) gravitates around these three pillars.

Key terms

  • Client — a person you support. Their profile gathers their whole journey over time.
  • Session — a coaching appointment, captured by video/in person or created manually.
  • Session type — a reusable template (duration, format, price) to create your appointments faster.
  • Memory (RAG) — the coaching memory Klarity builds from your sessions, summaries and notes. It's what powers the briefings and Memory Chat.
  • Briefing — the preparation note, generated before a session, that recalls the essentials of the client's journey.
  • Summary — the AI-generated report after a session.
  • Report email — a draft recap email, pre-filled by the AI, to review then send to your client.
  • Enrichment — your personal notes added to a session to refine the memory.
  • Consent — the client's agreement for their session to be captured and remembered. Essential before any capture.
  • Memory Chat — the screen where you query your coaching memory in natural language.
  • Memo — the name of your assistant in Memory Chat: it's the one that reads your memory and composes the answers.
  • Client mode / Practice mode / Pilot mode — the three modes of Memory Chat: a specific person (Client), your whole practice (Practice), or your activity figures (Pilot).
  • Citation — the reference to the source session used by Memo in an answer, to check where the information comes from.
  • Starter — a recurring question you save (My starters) to relaunch it in one click in Memory Chat.
  • Task — a follow-up action, created by hand, suggested by Memo or coming from a commitment, to check off once done.
  • Commitment / Trajectory — a commitment made by a client over the course of their engagement, tracked in the Trajectory tab of their profile; it can turn into a task carrying the Commitment badge.
  • Public page — your booking page, to share with your clients.
  • Trial — the 14-day free period, during which all features are available.

💡 Tip: these labels are the ones shown in the interface. When you read "briefing" or "consent" in Klarity, they refer exactly to the definitions above.
