Understanding notifications
Notifications keep you posted only about the events that call for an action or deserve your attention: a summary ready to review, an available pre-session briefing, a consent received or withdrawn, a booking from your public page, a calendar conflict… Klarity never alerts you "for noise": if a notification appears, there's something to look at or to do.
Understanding the Notifications page
The backend doesn't send ready-made text: each notification is composed by Klarity from its event type and the items involved (client, session, date). You therefore get a clear label and, most of the time, a button that takes you straight to the screen to handle (the session, the client file, the calendar…).
Each notification carries three useful pieces of information:
- a category (the area concerned), used to filter the list;
- a priority, flagged by an Urgent (red) or To handle (orange) badge when the event calls for a reaction; informational notifications display no priority badge;
- a read status (Read / Unread) and a timestamp.
Where to find them
- Click the bell in the top-right corner of the screen. Notifications aren't in the side menu: the bell is how you reach them. A badge on the bell shows the number of unread notifications; it updates automatically, without reloading the page.
- The bell opens a quick preview of the latest notifications, with a View all link to the full page.
On the page, notifications are grouped by period: Today, Yesterday, This week, Older.
Filter by status and by category
A column of filters (on the left on desktop, at the top on mobile) helps you narrow down what you're looking for.
- Status: Unread (default), All, Archived. Each tab shows its counter.
- Category (Filter by category section): All, then Klarity's areas, each with its notification count.
- Sessions — Summary ready to review, Session ended · enrichment open, Report email not sent · validation required, Report about to be sent (automatic sending scheduled), report email sent, Session without a recording (session missed), The summary couldn't be generated, automatic recording failed, excerpts added to smart memory.
- Calendar — New booking from your public page, Session canceled by the client, Session moved by the client, Calendar conflict detected, calendar sync (complete or disconnected — Google or Outlook depending on your connection).
- Consent — A new client validated your consent form, consent granted or withdrawn.
- Memory — Pre-session briefing ready, History import complete, Memory Chat conversation saved, and a client's reply to their check-in ([Client] replied to their check-in).
- Referral — A referral just subscribed: your referral discount goes up.
- Recap — Your recap is ready: your coaching year (or quarter) in one shareable card.
- System — scheduled maintenance, new version available, GDPR storage migration.
The notification detail
Click a notification to open its detail in a side panel. There you'll find its category, its optional priority badge, the timestamp, the full message and, where applicable, an action button to the item concerned (for example View the summary, Read the briefing or View the file). Opening the detail automatically marks the notification as Read and decrements the badge.
