# Adding attachments

Attach documents to a session — a handout, an exercise, a working document — to keep them tied to the right appointment. Every file you add is included in the report email sent to the client.

# Understanding attachments

The **Attachments** block is found in the session's **Report email** tab, just below the email preview. The files you drop there will be attached to the report email when you send it. You can add up to **10 files**, **10 MB maximum** each.

|| The list is **locked** as soon as the report email is **sent** — or as soon as you choose **Don't send this time**. It then becomes read-only (with a **These attachments were included in the report email sent to the client** note): you can still download the files, but no longer add or remove any. So drop your attachments **before** sending or skipping the email.

# Adding a document

1. On the session page, open the **Report email** tab and find the **Attachments** section.
2. Click **Add a file** and select your document.
3. The file appears in the list; you can **Download** it or **Delete** it.

|| Accepted types: PDF, images, Word, Excel and text files. Another format, a file larger than 10 MB or an 11th document will be rejected.

| 💡 **Tip:** add the attachments **before** sending the report email so they reach the client in the same send.
